Below is a Product Review of the 2-stroke Tecumseh engine for mini-bike. This is an excellent article which was issued July 1971 Mini-bike guide. This was the all new 2-banger that was introduced for mini-bikes. For me I personally like the 2-stroke engines because they are light and easy to fix.
